National Bureau of Statistics: 66,000 new energy vehicles were produced in June. The cumulative output in the first half of the year reached 285,000.
According to the statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics, China's industrial structure continues to be optimized, the industry is accelerating toward the mid-to-high end, and the strategic emerging industries are accelerating. In the first half of the year, the added value of strategic emerging industries including energy conservation and environmental protection industries, new generation information technology, bio-industry, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy industry, new materials industry and new energy vehicles increased by 11% year-on-year, higher than the full scale. The above industries were 5 percentage points; among them, the second quarter increased by 11.8%, 1.8 percentage points faster than the first quarter.
Second, new products and new technologies are developing rapidly. In line with the general trend of industrial structure and consumption structure upgrading, related products have become new economic growth points driven by high-tech such as intelligent manufacturing, energy saving and environmental protection, new energy and new materials. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first half of the year, the total output of new energy vehicles has reached 285,000, an increase of 88.7%. In the first half of the year, the cumulative output of traditional fuel vehicles reached 13.14 million units, a year-on-year increase of 6%.     At the same time, with the structural reform of the supply side, the policy effect initially appeared. As the production and investment growth of the overcapacity industry slowed down significantly, China's energy utilization efficiency improved overall, and the energy consumption structure continued to undergo positive changes. In the first half of the year, coal consumption accounted for 2.9 percentage points lower than the same period of the previous year; clean energy consumption such as hydropower, wind power, nuclear power and natural gas increased by 2.0 percentage points. In the first half of the year, energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of GDP fell by 5.2% year-on-year. The overall energy consumption of major energy-consuming products continues to decline.
